Jo Emmerson is a photographer based in the North West of England. She studied a National Diploma, and went on to complete a BA (Hons) in Photography at Blackpool and The Fylde College. It was during her study, that Jo ignited her passion for portraiture photography and experimentation with light. This passion and sense of exploration continues through Jo’s current work.

Jo has a strong editorial style and works with clients from concept, through production and retouching, to supply of the finished imagery. Jo has a talent for creating striking portraiture, which really demonstrate her passion for strong lighting.

Jo’s clients include model, design and advertising agencies, a luxury jewellery client, high-end care homes and even the odd bespoke wedding.

Her main focus is to create links with established advertising agencies and magazines, yet remains open to new projects and commissions.
